Martha Frampton, Music Director
Martha Frampton arrived at Bunker Hill in 1984 and soon began serving as volunteer choir director for her first ten years. She continues to serve the church in a professional capacity, directing adult choir and handbell choir and arranging special music offerings.
Martha graduated from University of Florida in 1978 with a Bachelor of Music and later received her NJ teacher certification from Glassboro State College (now Rowan University). She and husband Bob raised their two grown sons in Washington Township.
Retired since 2017, Martha taught Music Theory and Composition at Pennsville Memorial High School. She also taught at Mary Volz Middle School in Runnemede earlier in her career. She plays bassoon in the Philharmonic of Southern New Jersey and is active in Sigma Alpha Iota, International Professional Music Fraternity for Women, Heggan Library Friends, and The Friends of the Olde Stone House Village. Hobbies include gardening, boating, and sewing.
